Little is known of the T'au Ethereal caste, acting as shrouded, enigmatic figures that eschew the powerful weapons favoured by the T'au Fire caste. Ethereals appear to mix the roles of priesthood and royalty in the T'au society and command unquestioning loyalty from all of the other castes.
