Sinister, hooded figures, Plague Surgeons float through the mayhem of war like ghoulish spectres of death. They used to be Death Guard Apothecaries who delivered recuperation to those who could be saved, and absolution to those who could not. Damnation changed their order, rendering them the dark antithesis of what they used to be. The very contact of a Plague Surgeon is virulently infectious, whilst each and every breath they exhale teems with spores and Daemon motes. The miasma that drips from their weapons and surgical devices only provides to this effect. Any for foolish enough to interact with a Plague Surgeon in battle will quickly be crawling with empyric disease.
