One of many specialised castes of cyborg warriors on hand to the Adeptus Mechanicus, the Pteraxii are optimised for instinctive response and agility. Pteraxii’s reflexes are accentuated through paring back factors of cogitation that hinder their main function. Implanted with extra limbstumps – scapuli superior – on their back, a flight pack of thrusters and reactive life surfaces is linked to them. The flight packs come to be part of the Pteraxii, who serve in numerous roles.
