Scuttling, repugnant creatures whose madness pushes them over the brink of insanity into the faith that they are glorious, stout troopers of a marvelous empire, Crypt Ghouls seek out fresh, raw meat – typically by killing anything in their path. Dangerous even as individual enemies, they have a tendency to hunt in packs, every mordant competing with the others for scraps of flesh torn from the unlucky dying.
